The works will double rail capacity between Kuraby and Beenleigh, upgrade nine stations and remove five level crossings ahead of the Brisbane **** Olympic and Paralympic Games.About the OpportunityWe're seeking a Project Engineer, based on the Gold Coast, to manage the design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical and integrated station systems within a live rail environment.




Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer – Electrical, you'll coordinate interfaces between electrical, communications, mechanical, civil, structural and architectural disciplines across a complex, multidisciplinary brownfield delivery.Key AccountabilitiesReview and manage electrical, communications and mechanical designsLead technical reviews, constructability assessments and workshopsResolve design clashes through RFIs and stakeholder engagementOversee subcontractors on HV/LV, telecoms and mechanical packagesCoordinate interfaces between station systems and live rail assetsManage quality records, commissioning and asset handoverSupport forecasting, cost control and programme reportingRequired Skills and CompetenciesBachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalentExperience delivering major rail, transport or station projectsTrack record managing multidisciplinary services packagesMembership of Engineers Australia or progress to Chartered statusCurrent Rail Industry Worker (RIW) accreditation, or ability to obtainEqual Chance StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and promote equality and diversity.
