We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to become the key finance business partner for its inner north Brisbane production facility.This is far more than a traditional accounting role.
You'll work closely with manufacturing leaders, providing commercial insights, analysing production performance, improving costing accuracy and supporting strategic operational decisions across the site.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly manufacturing financial results and management reportsAnalyse production, labour and overhead variancesManage product costing and inventory valuationReview Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product cost structuresSupport budgeting, forecasting and financial planningPartner with production and operational leaders to improve plant performanceAnalyse manufacturing KPIs including labour utilisation, waste, yield and productivityCoordinate stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory controlsSupport capital expenditure reporting and fixed asset managementDrive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and manufacturing processesAbout YouCPA or CA qualification ideal,
