We are looking for an experienced risk and compliance professional who combines technical expertise with solid relationship‐building and communication skills, and who is passionate about enabling teams to do their best work while creating positive Starlight experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the risk and compliance framework and programEnsure processes and controls to manage and mitigate risksMaintain compliance register capturing all regulatory obligationsMonitor and report on key regulatory changes affecting StarlightAssess and evaluate policies and procedures to achieve the identified risk and compliance management objectivesFacilitate and coordinate risk and control identification and assessmentsProactively work with risk owners to manage Starlight's risk profileReview the effectiveness of internal controls through an agreed annual internal audit programReport on internal audit findings and monitor and report on implementation of remediation actionsManage Starlight's insurance portfolio ensuring cover is appropriate for the levels of risk identifiedMonitor risk management processes on new projects and activitiesEnsure accurate reporting to the Board, Audit & Risk Committee and Exec team & attend Audit&Risk; Committee meetings as requiredFoster the risk and compliance champion network across StarlightAbout youTo be successful, you will bring:Formal qualifications or training in risk management, governance, compliance, assurance or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit and/or assuranceExperience developing and implementing risk management frameworks, controls and continuous improvement initiativesStrong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, assess impacts and recommend practical solutionsExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levelsExceptional written, verbal and presentation skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across diverse teamsA proactive, customer‐focused approach and a commitment to supporting othersHigh levels of integrity,
