This role provides technical leadership, drives engineering excellence, and ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions across a portfolio of studies and projects.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of engineering specifications, equipment selection, and design methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practice and client requirementProvide subject matter expertise in materials handling systems, plant design,



and equipment performance optimisationOversee and undertake complex mechanical design and analysis to ensure safety, compliance, constructability, and operational efficiencyEvaluate and validate the performance of mechanical systems across construction, commissioning, and operational phasesProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering capability development within the teamLead multidisciplinary coordination, ensuring integrated and efficient project outcomes across engineering disciplinesManage and review technical deliverables including reports, drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and qualityAct as a key client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholdersContribute to business development activities including proposal preparation, client engagement, and identification of new opportunitiesLead or actively participate in risk assessments, design reviews, and interdisciplinary workshopsEnsure all work is delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, and BG&E; systems and governance frameworksAbout YouAs a senior leader within BG&E; Minerals, you will bring strong technical expertise alongside leadership capability,
