Working on a large data project is a significant initiative reshaping how data, reporting and analytics are delivered across the business - and this Change Analyst role sits right at the heart of it.You'll be the critical link between technical delivery teams and the business users who depend on the data and reporting tools being changed.
That means translating complex technical changes into language that resonates with diverse stakeholder groups, and making sure people are prepared, supported and ready to adopt new ways of working before go-live.Working alongside a Change Manager, Project Managers and technical specialists, you'll operate at a work package level - moving across the project lifecycle and making a tangible difference to how change lands across the organisation.What You'll Be DoingTranslating technical data and reporting changes (including Power BI impacts) into clear, business-facing impact assessmentsIdentifying and analysing impacted stakeholder groups, including effects on reports, data access, processes, roles and decision-makingFacilitating discovery and validation workshops to surface risks and define appropriate change interventionsCoordinating communications and training plans for diverse user groups,



working in partnership with BAU teams for training deliveryMaintaining business-facing SharePoint content and producing visual artefacts such as heat maps and impact modelsAssessing business readiness across the data conversion lifecycle, including post-conversion supportMonitoring adoption, identifying issues early and ensuring the right support mechanisms are in placeWhat You'll Need (Essential)Demonstrated experience as a Change Analyst on business or data transformation programs in large, complex organisationsProven ability to translate technical changes into explicit business impacts across users, processes, reporting and decision-makingStrong stakeholder identification and impact assessment skills, with experience facilitating workshopsHands‐on experience coordinating change activities at a work package level, including communications and engagement deliveryAbility to assess business readiness, identify adoption risks and support users through training and change interventionsExcellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiencesOrganised, proactive and collaborative - comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced delivery environmentNice to HaveExperience supporting data, reporting or analytics transformations, particularly involving Power BI (e.g. report migration or rationalisation)Familiarity with SharePoint for business-facing communicationsExperience developing visual change artefacts such as heat maps or impact modelsBackground in training needs analysis and supporting BAU‐led training deliveryUnderstanding of data lifecycle, governance or enterprise data environmentsExperience working in regulated industries such as utilities or energy
