Responsibilities
Develop and deliver media and communications strategies that support nbn's strategic objectives.
Shape and protect the organisation's reputation through strategic media engagement and impactful communications.
Drive proactive media opportunities, translate complex information into compelling stories, and provide trusted communications advice to senior leaders.
Support media engagement, journalist briefings, executive communications, and issue management to ensure clear, accurate messaging aligned to organisational priorities.
Manage both proactive and reactive communications, especially within regional Australia or highly regulated industries.
Qualifications
Significant experience in media relations, journalism, or external communications.
Proven ability to develop communications strategies, build strong media relationships, and deliver impactful storytelling.




Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into engaging content.
Experience navigating fast‐paced environments, handling ambiguity, competing priorities, and emerging issues.
Collaborative, adaptable, and purpose‐driven mindset with a passion for influencing and building trust.
