Our client, a global manufacturer with an established presence across Australia is now expanding its direct operations in Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of that growth from the beginning.
Based in Cambridge, you'll be the go-to person for the Tasmanian operation, taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse activities while building strong relationships with customers and stores across the region.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will include: Picking and packing customer orders Managing stock and maintaining an organised warehouse Merchandising and replenishing stock within stores Visiting customers and stores throughout your territory Building strong relationships with existing customers and providing exceptional service Processing orders through SAP What we're looking for This role will suit someone who is comfortable working independently and takes genuine ownership of their work.
You'll ideally bring: Previous warehouse or stores experience A reliable,
proactive and self-motivated approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent organisation and the ability to manage your own day Confidence interacting with customers and store teams A willingness to learn systems A forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential Previous sales experience would also be highly regarded.
While this is not initially a sales-target-driven position, there may be scope for the role to develop into business development as the Tasmanian operation grows, including participation in a sales incentive program.
