HD Fitter
to join our Welshpool workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is ready to combine hands-on mechanical work with leadership responsibilities. Working closely with the Leading Hand, you'll provide day-to-day support across workshop operations and step into a leadership role when required.
What You'll Be Doing
Working on Komatsu's world-class heavy mobile equipment, you will:
Support the Leading Hand in coordinating daily workshop activities
Provide leadership and guidance to the team while promoting a robust safety culture
Carry out the assembly, fit-out and commissioning of new mobile equipment within our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) department
Install customer-specific options and modifications
Conduct testing and quality inspections to ensure machines meet Komatsu's high standards
Assist in maintaining workshop productivity, quality and efficiency
What We Are Looking For
Cert lll Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent




Demonstrated experience in a step up or supervisor capacity
Full "C" Class Drivers Licence
Current EWP and Working at heights desirable
Certificate IV in Leadership and Management – desirable
Ability to complete full pre-employment medical check as well as random drug testing
Roster
Monday to Friday – 38 hours per week
