What you will
do as the Analyst / Senior
Analyst
You will help deliver key outcomes for the Consumer Data Right
(CDR) by analysing complex issues,
engaging with stakeholders,
supporting regulatory activities, and providing high-quality
advice.
Key responsibilities:
Analyse complex
issues and data to identify trends, risks and opportunities,
and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Support
accreditation, compliance and regulatory activities that
contribute to the effective operation of the Consumer Data
Right.
Build and maintain
stakeholder relationships across government, industry and the
ACCC to support program priorities.
Prepare
high-quality advice and communications, including reports,
briefings, correspondence and presentations for senior
decision-makers.
About
you
In order
to succeed in the role, you will have:
Sound analytical,
judgement and critical thinking skills.
Well-developed
written and oral communication skills with the ability to
influence, persuade and negotiate, as well as communicate in
plain language.
An
ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality
outcomes within agreed timeframes.
A
sound ability to support productive relationships with
stakeholders through collaboration and well-developed
interpersonal skills.
A
well-developed understanding of the ACCC's role and functions
and objectives of competition and consumer policy, or the
ability to gain this knowledge quickly.
An
understanding of the policy goals of the CDR, including how the
CDR aims to benefit competition and consumers.
In
addition, the Senior Analyst (APS6) role will require:
Demonstrated
experience leading a team and/or projects in a fast-paced and
large complex people-centred organisation.
Highly developed
research, analytical, judgement, strategic and conceptual
skills.
Ability to provide
accurate, impartial, and forthright advice to colleagues and
stakeholders.
Ability to
supervise and support junior team members.

Salary: APS5 $93,004 - $98,617 (plus 15.4%
superannuation)
APS6 $102,947 - $115,384
(plus 15.4% superannuation)
