About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting our dentists and ensuring every patient has a positive and comfortable experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms before and after appointments
Sterilising and maintaining instruments in accordance with infection control standards
Providing exceptional patient care and support throughout their visit
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Assisting with stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
Supporting reception when required, including appointment scheduling and patient enquiries
Ensuring the practice is clean, organised and operating efficiently
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Friendly, professional and compassionate
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Well organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work efficiently in a busy team setting
Reliable, adaptable and willing to learn
Committed to providing outstanding patient care
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred but not essential)
A Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures
Experience with dental practice management software (an advantage)
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
