It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers.We are a short commute (45 minutes) from Perth to our purpose-built airstripFamily friendly rosters giving you more time at home and less time travellingBeing closer to Perth the mid-west offers a more temperate climate than the Pilbara regionAirport parking for FIFO employeesThe OpportunityWe are seeking capable Process Operators to join our Processing teams based at the Karara Mine Site.This role requires certain physical demands and exposure to challenging environments that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, work at heights and others exertions associated with manual roles as well as a strong commitment to safety while working in an operational mine site environment.Working on a Full time 8 days on 6 days off 7 nights on 7 days off roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.To be successful in the role, the following is essential:WA C class Drivers LicenceSkid Steer and/or Forklift TicketProven experience working in a mining or other heavy industry environmentStrong understanding of mineral processingSound mechanical aptitudeExperience with filtration,

The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks.
As part of the logistics network Karara owns and operates 80km of railway between Tilley Junction and the Karara mine site, linking the Karara Export Terminal at the Port of Geraldton, able to handle up to 16 Mtpa of export product from a dedicated berth, with associated rail and train unloading infrastructure.
