This diverse and rewarding role combines Human Resources, Workforce Planning, Employee Engagement, and Rehabilitation and Return to Work responsibilities.
Working closely with the HR Manager, you will play an significant role in supporting our people, strengthening workforce capability, and contributing to a positive and engaged workplace culture.
You will support a range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning initiatives, employee engagement activities, performance management support, and HR administration.
You will also coordinate workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, ensuring employees receive appropriate support following workplace injuries and that legislative obligations are met.

The primary focus of this role is supporting workforce planning, employee engagement, and human resources initiatives that contribute to organisational growth, workforce sustainability, and positive employee experiences.
You will assist with workforce research, labour market analysis, workforce planning activities, skills gap identification, supported employment opportunities, student placements, and employee engagement programs.
You will also support recruitment, onboarding, performance management processes, policy implementation, and general HR operations.
An important component of the role involves coordinating rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for employees following workplace injury.
You will work closely with employees, managers, medical practitioners, rehabilitation providers and insurers to facilitate positive rehabilitation outcomes while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Demonstrate
Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Rehabilitation, Return to Work or a related fieldKnowledge of Fair Work, National Employment Standards,
Industrial Relations and Award interpretationUnderstanding of workers' compensation, injury management and rehabilitation processesStrong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skillsExperience handling sensitive and confidential employee informationKnowledge of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, workforce development, training and performance managementStrong organisational, administrative and reporting skillsHigh level of integrity, professionalism and discretionAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to continuous improvement and positive workplace culture
Mandatory Requirements
Working with Children Card (Blue Card) or ExemptionNDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) or ExemptionRight to Work in AustraliaCurrent Queensland Driver LicenceRegistered motor vehicle with comprehensive insurancePrepared to undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol testingPrepared to sign and abide by the Organisational Code of ConductCommitment to the Vision and Values of ARC Disability ServicesRRTW Accreditation or equivalent injury management qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded
Experience within the disability, community services, health or not-for-profit sectorExperience coordinating rehabilitation and return-to-work programsFirst Aid and CPR CertificationExperience interpreting the SCHADS Award
