This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history.
It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large‐scale storage for many generations to come.
This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.Purpose of the RoleThis role is principally about planning maintenance activities the FGJV's facilities management software and managing contract service providers.
This role also coordinates maintenance activities and resources on the site and subsequently develops timelines and budgets.QualificationsWhite CardC Class Driver's LicenseTrade related qualificationsCert IV in Training & Assessment PreferableExperienceDemonstrated computer proficiency – Essential – Word and Excel / Desirable – PowerPoint / PublisherDemonstrated experience in following written communication including job orders and directions2-5 years' experience in planning and scheduling work within a multidiscipline workforce.Experience with Preventive and Reactive maintenance systems, ability to develop others, problem shoot and data analysis.Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulationsAbility to supervise team membersDemonstrate initiative and creative problem‐solving skillsPractical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to implement and follow through on multiple issues and to achieve productive resultsSound interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaborativelyAbility to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressureGood organisational skills with exceptional attention to detailThe ability to work quickly, effectively, and positively in a demanding environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSound negotiation skills as well as conflict resolution skillsCore Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesAdministering all aspects of planned maintenance in SAPLiaising with the Maintenance teams as well as contractorsEnsuring compliance with statutory and company policy guidelines with particular focus on work method safety and routine servicing of essential servicesCoaching Maintenance staff in best practice maintenance methodologiesDeveloping and administering Maintenance KPI'sCompiling and maintaining equipment historiesCoaching and development of TradesmenPlanning of line maintenance activities.Plans to ensure that all materials for the above are available (timely), ensure an acceptable level of critical sparesChecks effectiveness of maintenance activitiesManages maintenance systemsBroad practical experience with Root Cause Analysis and the associated attention to detailPlan and schedule the sites Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) & Reactive Maintenance Program (RMP).
