Position Type: 24 Months Maximum Term Full Time (9 day fortnight,38 hours/week)

Salary Range: $23,920 – $49,296 per annum + super, based onschooling level completion, years out of school and age uponcommencement.

/n

Under the closeguidance of experienced industry professionals, this dynamictraineeship offers an exciting opportunity to build in‐demandskills in business administration, customer service andcommunications through a blend of formal training and hands‐onlearning.

You will play a key role in delivering an outstandingcustomer experience for the Townsville community by responding toenquiries across multiple contact channels and providing clear,accurate and timely information about Council services.

Inaddition, you will support Council's Communications and Media team,gaining exposure to internal and external communications, communitymessaging and media support activities - making this a varied,rapid‐paced role that builds valuable, real-world skills.

/n

Thistraineeship is a fantastic opportunity to build transferablebusiness skills, develop professional confidence, and contribute toessential Council services while working towards a nationallyrecognised qualification.

/n

Qualificationsand Experience

/n

Inan ideal applicant, we are looking for:

/n

- Willingness tobe part of, and promote, a positive safety culture whilstadhering to all Health and Safety policies andprocedures.

/n

- Minimumcompleted of Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.

/n

- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional drivers' licence (or ability toobtain).

/n

- Sound writtenand verbal communication skills.

/n

- Sound computerskills.

/n

- Ability to workeffectively and be positively involved within a teamenvironment.

/n

- Complete alltraining and assessment requirements of a Certificate IV in Business as per the provided training plan. This includesattending and participating in structured formal learning atthe nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as well askeeping an accurate and up to date training recordbook.
