About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Mentor and train apprentices and workshop staff
/n
- Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers
/n
- Operate CNC and manual machines in line with drawings and instructions
/n
- Accurately complete job cards and time records
/n
- Maintain tools, gauges, and measuring equipment in good condition
/n
- Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly
/n
- Assist with general maintenance and workshop duties as required
/n
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
/n
- Work various shifts to meet operational needs
/n
- Support business growth through involvement in new projects and client solutions
/n
- Continually upskill and stay current with client and industry requirements
/n/n
What You Need:
/n
/n
- Trade Certificate in machining or a related field
/n
- Minimum 5 years of experience with manual and CNC machining in a manufacturing environment
/n
- Ability to program and operate metalworking machinery
/n
- Strong understanding of steel grades and machining processes
/n
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement
/n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
/n
- Forklift and loader licences, or willingness to obtain
/n
- Physically fit and capable of hands‐on work in a manufacturing environment
/n/n
