About the role

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team and lead policy development, project reviews, and evaluation activities. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a broad range of public health organisations and stakeholder representatives, ensuring contemporary and evidence-based approaches to current and emerging challenges to improve the safety and wellbeing of NSW Health workforce.
Crown Clerk 9/10 starting salary from $133,348 - $146,945 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location - 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you will be doing
You will be working across a number of projects ensuring the effective delivery by supporting and communicating with key stakeholders. Activities will include:
- Manage and undertake policy and program development, review and evaluation of projects for the NSW Health Service, the Ministry of Health,
and related government agencies to address current and emerging issues in relation to safety and wellbeing including the NSW Health Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework.
- Plan, manage, implement and monitor projects to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
- Liaise, communicate, and consult with key staff in public health organisations and stakeholder representatives
- Prepare high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, policy, discussion papers, or circulars to inform, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new policy initiatives.
- Assist imbedding best practice safety/wellbeing practices across NSW Health and represent NSW Health on internal and external committees.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Experience in developing, analysing and evaluating policy and other projects related to safety/wellbeing in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of policies and legislation impacting on safety/wellbeing and related matters.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in managing all aspects of policy and project research, development, review and evaluation.
