About the Role
This role will involve industrial abrasive blasting within a blast shed, along with assisting painters and carrying out general labouring duties. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous blasting or general labouring experience who is looking for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform industrial abrasive blasting within the blast shed
- Assist painters with day-to-day tasks
- Carry out general labouring duties as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Use tools and equipment safely and appropriately
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current White Card mandatory
- Industrial abrasive blasting experience desirable but not required
- General labouring experience desirable
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
What We Offer
- $35.00 per hour
- Just under 6 months of work
- Immediate upcoming start 24 August 2026
- Chance to gain further industrial blasting and labouring experience
