Kimba Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Multidisciplinary Patient Services ward on a four-week contract from 22 August to 18 September 2026. This is a full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) offering competitive remuneration of AUD 71.54 to AUD 92.71 per hour. The successful candidate will work across the ED, acute, and aged care areas, providing direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting where flexibility and clinical skill are equally valued.

Preferred Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple care settings, including emergency, acute, and aged care
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing operational needs and work across different ward areas
- Current knowledge of relevant clinical protocols and a commitment to maintaining qualified standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience in contract or temporary nursing roles, or demonstrated adaptability to short-term placements
