We're partnering with a global Australian manufacturer to find a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is seeking a transition into the FP&A; realm.

Based in their Brisbane head office, you'll step into a large, complex manufacturing structure. With entry level FP&A; roles rare, this is a chance to get FP&A; experience inside a genuinely large-scale, multi-division business, not a generic corporate head office role.

About the Role

You'll join an established FP&A; function supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across the business. It's a hands-on, high-exposure role for someone early in their finance career who wants to learn from experienced analysts while working on real, operationally complex numbers.

A day in the life:

- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Assisting with month-end close and consolidations
- Building variance analysis with commentary for business leaders




- Maintaining recurring reports and KPI trackers
- Helping prepare materials for leadership and management reporting
- Partnering with stakeholders across divisions to gather inputs and respond to requests
- Running ad hoc analysis (cost trends, headcount planning)
- Contributing ideas to improve reporting processes as the business scales
- Get involved in AI initiatives across the function

About you:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-2 years' experience in finance, management accounting, or an analytical role
- Robust Excel skills (pivots, lookups, basic modeling)
- Sharp attention to detail and comfort with recurring deadlines
- Good communicator, confident working with non-finance stakeholders
- Genuine interest in building a long term career in a global business

Nice to Have:

- SAP or similar ERP exposure
- Basic SQL or BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau)
