Tumby Bay Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) team on a contract basis from 20 August to 18 October 2026. This is an 8-week opportunity working across the Emergency Department, Acute, and Aged Care wards, with flexible hours between 0.63 and 1.0 FTE (up to 76 hours per fortnight). The role offers a competitive salary range of AUD69.42 to AUD92.71 per hour, providing an excellent chance to gain varied clinical experience in a regional healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Ability to work across multiple clinical areas including emergency, acute, and aged care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work variable shifts and adapt to changing patient acuity
- Sound clinical judgment and the ability to prioritise patient care effectively

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
- Previous experience in emergency, acute, or aged care nursing is advantageous
