Are you a Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife looking for your next regional contract? Our client in Mackay, Queensland is seeking experienced Dual Registered Midwives/RNs for ongoing temporary opportunities.

About the Service
The maternity service supports approximately 450 births each year, with around 40 deliveries per month and 9 dedicated postnatal beds. There are currently 3 OBGYNs on site, providing a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Due to the regional service model and relatively low annual birth numbers, the successful candidate will also be required to work across Paediatrics and the General Medical ward when maternity workload is low.
The Opportunity
- Ongoing temporary contracts available through to 2027
- 6-week minimum contracts
- Up to $75 per hour + super + penalties (depending on experience)

- Work across maternity, antenatal,
postnatal and birthing services
- Opportunity to support Paediatrics and General Medicine as required

What We're Looking For
- Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife
- Recent experience across maternity and general nursing
- Confidence in birthing, antenatal and postnatal care
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Flexibility to work across different areas of the hospital
- Previous rural, regional or travel nursing experience is highly regarded
