Mental Health Drug & Alcohol, Bathurst
About the role
An exciting prospect exists for an Aboriginal Health Clinician to join the Bathurst Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), supporting young people and their families within a community mental health setting.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of nursing, social work, psychology and psychiatry professionals, you will conduct mental health assessments, provide therapeutic interventions and contribute to care planning to support positive mental health outcomes. The team is known for its collaborative, supportive and flexible culture, with clinicians working together each day to ensure high-quality care is delivered to young people and their families.
The successful applicant will receive comprehensive orientation, clinical supervision and professional mentoring, while working closely with the Team Leader, Clinical Leader, wider CAMHS team and Aboriginal MHDA Workforce.
An individualised professional development pathway will also be developed to support both role requirements and your professional interests within child and adolescent mental health.
The position works Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with the option of a 9-day fortnight through flexible rostering arrangements. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in a supportive team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
