About The Opportunity





Are you an experienced business systems professional looking to make a meaningful impact? As a Business Systems Specialist with Bundaberg Regional Council, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Council's business systems operate effectively throughout their lifecycle while driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Working closely with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams, you'll lead system enhancements, support integration and architecture initiatives, and deliver reliable technology solutions that enable efficient service delivery across the organisation. You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve business processes, strengthen system performance and support future growth

About You

You will bring:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience), together with significant experience in senior business systems administration.
- Demonstrated experience leading system configuration, maintenance, upgrades and enhancement initiatives, ensuring integration, reliability and alignment with organisational requirements.
- Proven ability to provide expert advice on system security, solution architecture and data integration, with a focus on supporting informed business decision-making.
- Strong project leadership skills, including coordinating stakeholders and suppliers, gathering business requirements and delivering system improvement initiatives.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and customer-focused service,



with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to enhance business processes, system performance and operational efficiency.
- A current Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
- Experience working in Local Government will be highly regarded.
