Job Description
What's the job?
As a Laundry Attendant, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Sorting, washing, drying and folding all motel linen and towels
- Operating commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Checking for stains or damage and treating items as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness in the laundry area
- Stock rotation and storage of clean linen
- Supporting the housekeeping team as needed during busy periods
The details:
- Shifts start at 8:00am and most days you are out at 1pm
- Flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends and pick up extra shifts for leave coverage
- Extra hours may be available during peak periods and leave coverage
Desired Skills and Experience
Who we're looking for:
- Someone reliable, with a robust work ethic and attention to detail
- This is a physically active role - you'll be on your feet and moving throughout your shift
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a bonus, but not essential - we'll provide training
