Kingaroy Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Perioperative and Theatre team on a four-week contract from 31 August to 27 September 2026. Based in rural Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment with up to 80 hours per fortnight. The position is remunerated at AUD58.95 to AUD76.20 per hour, with travel support capped at $200 each way from Brisbane to Kingaroy. On-call availability is required.

Preferred Requirements
- Solid perioperative and theatre nursing experience, including scrub and scout roles
- Demonstrated competence in anaesthetics, PACU, and recovery care
- Experience in day surgery and endoscopy environments
- Rural and remote healthcare experience valued
- Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to a smaller hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Perioperative nursing qualification or post-graduate study in theatre nursing
- Current CPR and first aid certification
