On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join a supportive multidisciplinary team. Ideally suited to a nurse with 5+ years of clinical experience, this role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse patient population while continuing to develop your primary care skills within a well-supported environment.

You will work closely with GPs and the wider primary healthcare team, providing comprehensive nursing care and supporting patients across both acute and long-term health needs.

About the Role

- Deliver high-quality primary healthcare nursing services to a diverse patient population
- Support patient assessment, interventions, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Undertake clinical triage and appropriately escalate presentations when required
- Support the management of long-term conditions and preventative healthcare
- Provide wound assessment and management
- Perform venepuncture, blood collection, and IV line insertion where required
- Contribute to health promotion, screening, and patient education
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

About You





- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Ideally 5+ years of nursing experience, with primary care experience preferred
- Current vaccinator certification
- Current smear taker certification
- Current CPR certification
- Confident undertaking clinical triage and assessment
- Strong wound management experience
- Competent in venepuncture, blood collection, and IV line insertion
- Experience managing long-term conditions
- Familiarity with Medtech Evolution , Indici , My Practice or other PMS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
