APS6 Senior Communications Officer | Strategy & Media
Develop and implement communication strategies, campaigns and public affairs activities in an Australian Government environment, providing media, issues management and strategic communication advice to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and implement communication strategies, plans and products for key projects, campaigns and commemorative events.
- Provide communication, media and issues management advice to senior management and business areas.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support launches, presentations, public relations events and other public affairs activities.
Key Criteria
- Well-developed written and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence.
- Ability to inform communication strategies and provide advice that supports business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, teamwork and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills, supported by core project management capability.
