This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive Staff Health Service committed to supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of healthcare workers across one of NSW Health's largest and most diverse local health districts. Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will gain valuable experience across a broad range of Staff Health functions, including occupational health, immunisation, workforce screening, communicable disease risk management and health promotion initiatives. With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you build positive relationships with staff, managers and external stakeholders, and use active listening to provide supportive, customer-focused services throughout occupational health, screening and immunisation processes. You are equally comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a supportive team, with proven ability to organise and prioritise competing demands. A proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and the delivery of high-quality services is essential,



along with a genuine interest in developing specialist knowledge in workforce health. This role will suit someone who is passionate about supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of healthcare workers and is willing to travel across SWSLHD facilities as required, with the flexibility to contribute to district-wide programs and seasonal vaccination initiatives.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has completed specialist HESA-approved post-graduate training to provide immunisation services without direct medical authorisation.
- Ability to assess, interpret and apply clinical information to support secure decision-making, compliance requirements and staff health outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of staff, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, including managing sensitive conversations in a professional and person-centred manner.
- Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and utilise clinical and administrative systems to support safe, efficient and compliant service delivery.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability and contributing positively to service development, change initiatives and evolving models of care.

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
