About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of your room and play an key role in supporting your team to provide a high standard of care and education.

You will:

- Lead and inspire your room team

- Build strong, meaningful relationships with children and families

- Plan and implement engaging, intentional learning experiences

- Take responsibility for your room's program, planning and documentation

- Mentor and support educators within your team

- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

- Ensure the room operates in line with the EYLF, NQS and Little Saints policies and procedures

- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader and Centre Leadership Team





- Communicate professionally and positively with families

- Take ownership of your room and strive for continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for an educator who is:

- Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Available 5 Monday through to Friday with the availability to open and close at least once a week

- Passionate about providing exceptional education and care

- Confident in leading and mentoring a team

- Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys working with children

- Organised, proactive and able to take initiative

- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships

- Confident in planning, programming and documentation

- Reliable, flexible and willing to support their team

- Committed to continuous learning and professional development

- Able to create a positive and supportive team environment

Knowledge of the Abecedarian Approach, EYLF and NQS will be highly regarded.
