Job Description
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you’ll be using your skills and experience to drive meaningful research in Multiple Sclerosis.

You will manage the day-to-day operations of one or more clinical trials in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) at Griffith’s Clinical Trial Unit on the Gold Coast campus. This includes coordinating all aspects of trial delivery, from screening and enrolment through to participant visits and ongoing trial management. You will be a key point of contact for participants, ensuring a high-quality experience while maintaining the highest standards of clinical and research integrity.

Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate the conduct of the clinical research trial at the Griffith site, including participant enrolment and ongoing management.

- Perform in-person participant reviews and assessments (e.g., ECGs, phlebotomy, cognitive assessments) as outlined in the trial protocol.

- Liaise with ancillary service providers, such as neurologists, pharmacy, and hospital staff, to ensure the coordination of all participant study assessments.

- Maintain accurate trial records and perform data processing, verification, and management to ensure data integrity.

- Ensure that trials are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and the Therapeutic Goods Administration, Australian Clinical Trials regulations.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher)



in Nursing or a health-related field

- Demonstrated experience coordinating clinical trials

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

- Experience in Multiple Sclerosis research is desirable but not essential

- Phlebotomy and ECG skills are desirable, with training available for the right candidate

What we can offer
This is a fixed term 12-month contract (with possibility of extension), full time (1.0 FTE) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range
The full-time equivalent base salary for a Research Assistant Grade 2 is in the range $87,202 - $91,705 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $102,026 - $107,295 per annum.
