Workshop Technicians

Near Perth Airport | Multiple roles | Mon–Fri base roster, occasional travel

Keystone People Solutions is recruiting Workshop Technicians for a specialist Perth business that protects, stores, preserves, tests and prepares critical equipment across industry sectors including oil & gas, resources, defence & aviation. If you've worked in a technical or industrial equipment workshop, this environment and the work itself will be familiar.

You'll inspect equipment, carry out preservation and maintenance, run function tests, package to standard, and document your work properly. We're looking across the experience range — from technicians building trade skills through to experienced hands who can run the bench largely unsupervised.

What you'll be doing

- Inspecting equipment for faults, damage or wear

- Preservation, maintenance and minor repairs

- Function testing and diagnostics

- Packaging equipment to required standards





- Documenting service reports with photos

- Following method statements and work instructions

Who we want

Some trade, mechanical or oilfield equipment background is preferred, but we're hiring across the experience range:

- Practical and mechanically minded

- Reliable and consistent

- Safety-conscious, works to procedure

- Comfortable with sustained physical work

- Takes ownership of their own quality and HSE

Essential

- Current forklift ticket

- Current C Class driver's licence

- Confidence using hand tools and power tools

- Basic computer skills for reports and photos

- Willingness to travel and work project-based rosters when required

Nice to have

- Mechanical, hydraulic trade background

- Fixed plant, preservation or maintenance experience

- Experience maintaining or testing specialised/precision equipment

- Working at Heights, Dogman, EWP tickets

Backgrounds that could suit

Trade Assistant, Workshop or Service Technician, Mechanical/Hydraulic TA, fixed plant or maintenance support, equipment hire/repair/testing, or trade experience from resources (including oil & gas), defence, construction, aviation or marine sectors.
