The Opportunity
Core Crew Training is a registered training organisation dedicated to providing top-notch training and assessment services that support the development and certification of professionals across the mining industry. We are looking to add an experienced Operational Trainer and Assessor to our team, based in Brisbane or Townsville, to deliver Production Training to mining clients throughout Australia.
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality training sessions, assessing learner competencies, and ensuring that all training materials meet industry standards and RTO procedures.
What the Role Entails
- Deliver high-quality training sessions on S11 and G189 training courses to diverse groups of learners.
- Assess and evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop and update training materials to ensure relevance and compliance with current industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of training and assessment activities.
- Support learners throughout their training journey, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and updates to continuously enhance training programs.
- Travel to mining sites throughout Australia to deliver on-site training and assessment.
What You Will Need
- Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in the Construction/Mining Industry.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of training delivery and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Proficiency in using training technologies and platforms.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
