1300SMILES Upper Ross is looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Dental Assistant to join our clinical team.

Whether you're new to dental or already have experience, we're looking for someone who is outgoing, detail-focused and genuinely enjoys working with people of all ages.

Job Description

As our Dental Assistant, you'll support our dentists and clinical team throughout each patient's visit, helping everything run smoothly from start to finish.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Assisting dentists and clinicians chairside during procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms between appointments
- Sterilising instruments and caring for dental equipment
- Helping patients feel comfortable and well looked after
- Pitching in with reception and admin tasks when things get busy

This is a casual role with shifts available across our opening hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the practice, with most weeks offering approximately 20–38 hours.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will:

- Be friendly, approachable and enjoy working with people
- Have outstanding attention to detail and take pride in your work
- Have previous customer service experience and skills
- Be reliable,



positive and eager to learn
- Have previous Dental Assisting experience or certificate (preferred, but not essential)
