SBS Engineering is seeking experienced Shutdown Boilermakers & Mechanical Fitters to join our growing Perth Division for upcoming shutdown works across WA mine sites.
These roles are suited to reliable, safety-focused tradespeople and experienced site personnel who take pride in delivering quality work in fast-paced shutdown environments.
About The Roles
We are currently recruiting for:
- Boilermakers
- Mechanical Fitters
You will be working as part of a Site Services team supporting shutdown, maintenance and project works across fixed plant and mining infrastructure.
Duties May Include
- Fixed plant maintenance and shutdown support
- Structural, mechanical and fabrication works
- Repairs, replacements and installations
- Working safely within site procedures and permit systems
- Supporting trades and supervisors to complete shutdown scopes on time
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area
What We’re Looking For
For Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters:
- Australian-recognised trade qualification
- Previous mining, fixed plant or shutdown experience
- Ability to read drawings and work to job scopes
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Dogging, rigging or EWP tickets highly regarded
For all applicants:
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
- Current police clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
