Your new role
Your new role is critical to ensuring the smooth coordination of workflow, client administration and compliance processes while providing proactive support to Partners and accounting professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients regarding year-end compliance and business services matters
- Coordinating and managing workflow across the Business Services team to ensure deadlines are met
- Preparing and processing client jobs, maintaining databases and updating client records
- Managing client correspondence, documentation, checklists and compliance requirements
- Liaising with regulatory bodies including the ATO, ASIC and ABR on behalf of clients
- Supporting the establishment of new companies, trusts and business registrations
- Managing invoicing processes, reporting and documentation distribution
- Assisting with diary management, meeting coordination and preparation of meeting materials
- Monitoring work progress and proactively following up with team members to improve efficiency
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and supporting the ongoing success of the administration function
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring previous experience within a professional services environment and enjoy working in a quick-paced, client-focused setting.
You will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Workflow Coordinator, Business Support, Practice Administration or Client Services role.
- Experience within a professional services or public accounting firm is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of workflow management, client service delivery and compliance-driven environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with confidential information.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems.
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
