The Music Retail Assistant is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and assisting customers with musical instruments, accessories and product enquiries. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the store while helping create a welcoming environment for students, teachers and musicians.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding customer service in-store and over the phone

- Assist customers with instrument and accessory selection

- Support sales and rental enquiries

- Process sales transactions accurately

- Maintain store presentation and displays

- Develop product knowledge and assist with demonstrations

- Work collaboratively as part of the Tempest team

Skills & Attributes

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Organised, reliable and proactive

- Solid interest in music and ability to play a musical instrument preferred

- Retail experience highly regarded
