About Sunshine Coast Day Surgery

Sunshine Coast Day Surgery is an accredited, twin-theatre facility, and an additional dedicated gastroenterology/ urology unit. The facility in Maroochydore provides a broad range of surgical services to the Sunshine Coast community including Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, Dental, and IVF/ Gynaecological Services.

We are seeking experienced Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses with experience in Perioperative Nursing (specifically in Ophthalmology, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery, Dental and IVF/Gynaecological) to join us on a permanent part time basis.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

· At least 1-2 years clinical experience in the scrub/scout

· Exceptional clinical skills

· Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices, including infection control, ACORN standards

· The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

· An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care

Essential criteria

· Current AHPRA nursing registration

· Relevant clinical experience
