About the Opportunity:

Fixed term temporary full-time, 12 months, commencing 11/01/2027.

Deliver professional, client focused pharmacy services under the supervision of a pharmacist, within a learning, evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment. The developed knowledge and experience will facilitate AHPRA registration as a pharmacist with enhanced skills in the field of hospital pharmacy practice.

Promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Please note - this is an identified position:

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

- Salary range: $80,016 p.a. (HP3.0)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

- Mandatory qualifications and proof of provisional registration with AHPRA.
- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
