About the role:
Carinity – Talera have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Child and Family Therapist to join the team. This role provides quality therapeutic and resourcing interventions for children/young people and families referred to Carinity Communities Programs.

In this role you will utilise a collaborative case management approach to strengthen family relationships, enhance children’s safety/wellbeing and develop supporting networks within the community.

These roles require 16-32 hours each fortnight, worked Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM (must be available on Wednesdays).

What do I need for the role?

- Minimum 4+ years specialist counselling experience supporting children/young people and their families in relation to domestic and family violence, child abuse, neglect, and attachment and trauma
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in risk assessment and safety planning where domestic and family violence is an issue
- Tertiary qualification/s in psychology/social work/counselling or similar relevant discipline
- Hold a current Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
