Position overview
- Employment Type: Part time (48 hours per fortnight), Fixed term position
- Commencing: As soon as possible - Ending: 31 December 2026
- Location: Warrnambool Campus
- Classification: Grade 2 - Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist or Social Worker
- Salary Range: $90,235.60 - $106,906.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
About the role
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker or Psychologist who is wanting to about make a difference in children's lives? South West Healthcare's (SWH) is on the lookout for an enthusiastic clinician to work as part of the multidisciplinary School Readiness team. The SWH School Readiness team operates in partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET) as part of the School Readiness Funding initiative. This program works in a capability building model to provide kindergartens with support to deliver evidence-based, quality programs to ensure children get the most out of their early learning.
The SWH School Readiness Allied Health Team are the 2023 Victorian Public Healthcare Award Winners in the category of keeping people healthy and safe in the community and have been providing service excellence to over 50 kindergartens across 5 local government areas since 2019.
The Team
You'll be joining an experienced and dedicated group of professionals, including Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. Together, you will work in partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET) to deliver essential services.
