The Cleaning Supervisor will be a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the cleaning team and ensuring the plant is cleaned to a high standard, safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the cleaning team
- Ensuring all areas of the processing facility are cleaned to the required standard
- Allocating daily cleaning tasks and monitoring completion
- Ensuring cleaning procedures, chemical handling and WHS requirements are followed
- Working closely with Production, QA and Management
- Training and supporting cleaning staff
- Identifying and addressing cleaning, hygiene and equipment issues
- Completing cleaning records and required documentation
- Managing staff attendance, performance and productivity
- Ensuring the plant is ready for production each day
About you
- Has previous supervisory or team leader experience, preferably in a food processing, meat processing or industrial cleaning environment
- Has strong attention to detail and high hygiene standards
- Can confidently lead and motivate a team
- Is reliable, organised and willing to be hands-on
- Has positive communication and problem-solving skills
- Understands workplace health and safety requirements
- Can work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Is comfortable working early mornings, nights and/or weekends as required
