Project Manager – Industrial Commercial Construction
I am currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and growing Queensland construction business with a solid pipeline of industrial and commercial projects across Greater Brisbane.
This is a newly created opportunity driven by continued growth and several recent large-scale project wins, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to take ownership of major projects and play a key role within the business.
With a strong reputation for quality project delivery and long-standing relationships across clients, consultants and subcontractors, the business has built a solid presence in the Queensland construction market. With further growth ahead, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and deliver projects from pre-construction through to completion.
You will be responsible for managing industrial and commercial construction projects valued up to $80M, working closely with the site and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to practical completion
- Lead and coordinate site, contracts and project teams
- Manage budgets, programs, procurement and project delivery
- Oversee subcontractor and consultant relationships
- Manage variations, EOTs, claims and commercial outcomes
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
About You
I'm looking for a proven Project Manager with experience delivering large-scale industrial, commercial or similarly complex construction projects.
- Strong experience managing projects valued $30M+
- Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A track record of delivering projects from start to finish
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- A hands-on, collaborative approach to project delivery
