The Opportunity:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Director North West Region will provide both strategic vision and operational leadership. You will be responsible for delivering an integrated service model underpinned by a strong model of care across our residential aged care, home care, retirement living, Allied Health, and Disability services. As a values-driven leader and change-maker, you will play a pivotal role in balancing financial and workforce sustainability with exceptional client outcomes and ensuring our communities continue to thrive.

What you will bring:

- Extensive senior leadership experience in aged care, health or another complex, regulated service organisation.
- Strong clinical background and clinical governance experience.
- Experience leading multi-site operations and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in inspiring and leading high-performing teams with the rights and experience of the older person front and centre of all they do.
- Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, service performance excellence and sustainable growth.
- Experience in successfully leading through change and fully embedding operating model requirements and service and digital transformation.
- A resilient, commercially astute values-driven leader who is adaptable, people-centred, and thrives in high-pressure and complex environments.
- A strong communicator who is known for challenging the status quo and is able to confidently deliver innovative, business-aligned workforce strategies.

Key Accountabilities:





- Clinical Governance, Compliance and Risk Management: Deep understanding of aged care funding models, regulatory frameworks, and quality standards, with the capability to ensure robust clinical governance, risk management, and audit readiness.
- Lead Person-Centred Care Excellence: Fully embed mecwacare’s Model of Care as the foundation for high-quality, person-centred services that prioritise safety, dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life fostering a culture of compassion and service excellence.
- Strategic Direction & Sector Leadership: Proven success in developing and executing long-term workforce strategies that drive growth and impact, innovation, service quality, and financial and workforce sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement, Board and Governance Reporting: Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships across the Board, regulators, government, and our sector and community partners. Strong experience in preparing high-quality Board reporting and insights for effective decision making.
- Leadership and People Development: A demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, embed values-based leadership, support effective succession planning, and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Change Management and Transformation: Robust track record of leading through organisational change, policy reform, delivering complex transformation programs,



and positioning the organisation for future success in a dynamic and complex environment.
