What you'll be doing

As the Administration Officer in this important frontline role, you will provide high-quality clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of D4A Ward and support optimal patient outcomes.

In this role you will:

Manage patient admissions, discharges, transfers and related transactions in iPMS

Maintain accurate patient records, medical files and ward documentation in line with WSLHD policies

Coordinate discharge transport, medication chart and script couriering, and ward correspondence

Monitor bed allocations, complete daily statistical reports and support efficient ward operations





Provide professional reception and clerical support to staff, patients and visitors while maintaining a welcoming ward environment

Selection Criteria:

Proven extensive clerical experience in an office support role.

Demonstrate extensive receptionist/customer service skills.

Demonstrated excellent clerical organisational and time management skills.

Demonstrated effective communication skills - verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team situation.

Competent computer skills in a Windows based environment and a knowledge of databases.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to adaptable work practices
