We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and empowering leader to join our Healthy Kids and Families team as Nurse Manager - Child and Family Health. As the Nurse Manager - Child and Family Health, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Child and Family Health services within Healthy Kids and Families, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to children and families across our diverse and expanding district.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, timely, and coordinated services, with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, and achieving positive developmental and health outcomes for children.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with demonstrated experience at a senior nursing management level with relevant tertiary qualifications in Child and Family Health or extensive demonstrated experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD in the relevant specialty of child and family health nursing or a combination of study and work experience.
- Describe your experience leading and managing multidisciplinary community health teams, including how you support staff performance, manage service demand, and ensure secure, high-quality care delivery.
- Provide an example of how you have driven service improvement or innovation in child and family health or community-based services, including how you managed stakeholders, improved patient outcomes, or addressed service pressures such as waitlists or patient flow.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included)
license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
