Customer Connection Specialist – Maitland

Full-Time | Maitland Office | Rotating Roster | Hybrid Flexibility

Make moving easier for Australians

At Super Mover, we’re all about taking the stress out of moving home.

We partner with real estate agencies and other leading businesses across Australia to help their customers organise the essential services they need when they move. From electricity and gas to internet and other moving services, our team makes getting connected simple.

As Super Mover continues to grow, we’re looking for a confident, energetic and customer-focused Customer Connection Specialist to join our team in Maitland.

This is a phone-based customer service and sales role where you’ll speak with customers who are already moving and have been referred to us for assistance — these are warm leads, not traditional cold calling.

What you'll be doing

As a Customer Connection Specialist, you'll manage customers from initial contact through to getting their new property connected.

Your day will include:

- Contacting warm customer leads by phone and helping them organise electricity, gas, internet and other moving services.

- Understanding each customer's needs and recommending suitable products and providers.

- Managing your own lead pipeline, including new leads, callbacks and follow-ups.

- Processing customer applications accurately through energy retailer and service provider portals.

- Updating customer records, call outcomes and lead statuses within our CRM.

- Responding to customer enquiries across phone, email and other communication channels.

- Following up customers who haven't yet completed their connection.

- Managing customer enquiries or issues and coordinating with retailers and providers where required.

- Working towards individual and team-based sales, conversion and customer service KPIs.

- Maintaining a high standard of accuracy when handling customer information and applications.

- Following required privacy, consent, compliance and quality assurance processes.

- Participating in regular coaching, training and product updates.

- Providing feedback on lead quality, customer objections and opportunities to improve the customer experience.

- Supporting your teammates during busy periods and contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment.

What we're looking for

You don't necessarily need utilities experience — we'll provide training on our products, providers and processes.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is confident and natural speaking with customers over the phone.

- Has experience in customer service, sales, contact centres or another customer-facing environment.

- Enjoys working towards targets and achieving measurable results.

- Can build rapport quickly and communicate clearly.

- Is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

- Is organised and can effectively manage a pipeline of customers and follow-ups.

- Has robust attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.

- Is comfortable working across multiple computer systems and learning new technology.

- Can balance providing a great customer experience with identifying sales opportunities.

- Is resilient, positive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Is coachable and genuinely wants to improve.

- Works well as part of a team and is willing to jump in and help when things get busy.

Experience in utilities, telecommunications, insurance, banking,

real estate, contact centres or other regulated sales environments would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

Hours & roster

This is a full-time position primarily based in our Maitland office.

Our operating hours are 9:00am–7:00pm Monday to Friday, with team members working rotating 8-hour shifts within this window.

This means this isn't a fixed 9–5 role, and your start and finish times may vary across your roster.

There may also be some Saturday shifts during busy periods, shared across the team as part of a rotating roster.

The role is primarily office-based, however some work-from-home flexibility may be available once you're established in the role and meeting the required performance and operational standards.

Why join Super Mover?

We're a growing Australian business with an ambitious goal: to create a genuinely better moving experience for customers.

You'll be joining a team where your contribution is visible and where strong performance is recognised.

You'll benefit from:

- Warm customer leads — no traditional cold prospecting.

- Full product, system and compliance training.

- A supportive and collaborative team setting.

- Performance incentives and opportunities to be rewarded for strong results.

- Work-from-home flexibility for established team members.

- Opportunities to develop your skills and grow as the business expands.

- Exposure to multiple industries including utilities, telecommunications, real estate and moving services.

- The opportunity to join a growing business where you can genuinely make an impact.

Sound like you?

If you're confident on the phone, enjoy helping customers, like working towards targets and want to join a growing Australian business, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now and tell us why you'd be a great addition to the Super Mover team.
