Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Business Partner to join our People Team, based in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Head of Industrial Relations & HR, you will play a key role in supporting our Australian operations, providing trusted HR advice, employee relations expertise and strategic people support to leaders across the business.

Your Activities

As Human Resources Business Partner, you will:

- Partner with operational and senior leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and support.

- Support talent development and workforce capability through career pathways, employee development and internal talent pipeline initiatives.

- Lead, coach and support our managers of performance, succession planning and employee lifecycle.

- Provide guidance on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances and workplace investigations.

- Provide advice regarding Australian employment legislation, industrial instruments, policies and HR best practice.

- Partner with leaders to improve employee engagement, workforce capability and business performance.





- Lead and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational and organisational priorities.

- Review and develop HR policies, procedures and supporting frameworks to maintain legislative compliance and contemporary HR practices.

- Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition and Workplace Relations specialists to ensure workforce priorities and people matters are effectively managed.

- Use workforce insights, HR data and trends to identify opportunities, risks and areas requiring intervention.

- Support organisational change and workforce initiatives across Australian operations.

- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of the organisation.

Your Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business, Employment Relations or a related discipline.

Your Profile

You will bring:

- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience within an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor, HR Generalist or comparable people-focused role.

- Demonstrated experience providing advice across a broad range of employee relations and HR matters.

- Strong stakeholder management capability and confidence partnering with operational and senior leaders.

- Experience working with a blue-collar, frontline or operational workforce.

- Strong judgement, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive and complex people matters.

- The capability to lead, coach and develop others and create a cooperative, high-performing team environment.





- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

- Enthusiasm for supporting organisational change, employee engagement and continuous improvement.

- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and HR information systems.

- Experience using recruitment platforms, workforce reporting or HR analytics tools is advantageous.
