We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at One Harvest in Perth. This is an immediate start position for the Day Shift on a Full-timel basis within our Logistics department. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Ensuring accurate and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing stock
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Assisting with inventory management by conducting stock counts and reconciliations
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily targets and deadlines
- Reporting any maintenance or operational issues to the relevant stakeholders
The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role and a valid forklift licence are essential requirements for this position. About you
To be successful in this role you will be required to have the following.
- Hold a current forklift licence (high risk)
- Experience driving counterbalance forklift (high reach advantageous)
- Ability to load/unload trucks and customer vehicles in a Warehouse setting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment between 2 - 4 degrees.
- Flexibility to work on the weekend when needed
