We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Martin Brothers As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites, playing a vital role in the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate and maintain a variety of construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, Skid Steer, and Trucks
- Perform pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- You should be comfortable being out of the machine as required for jobs where there is no machines required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Machine Operator in the construction industry
- Proficient in the operation of a range of heavy machinery and equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's licence and construction industry tickets/certifications
