Now Energy has been engaged by two Tier 1 organisations to identify and secure outstanding electrical construction professionals for a significant pipeline of major energy and infrastructure projects across Australia’s eastern states.
We are seeking proven performers, not simply applicants who meet the minimum requirements. These opportunities are suited to experienced professionals who can demonstrate a successful track record delivering complex, high-value electrical infrastructure projects.

Construction Managers & Site Supervisors
We are seeking experienced electrical construction leaders with a strong record of safely and successfully delivering major projects, including:

- HV substations and associated infrastructure up to 500kV
- Large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Utility-scale solar farms
- Utility-scale wind farms
- HV transmission and associated electrical infrastructure
- Data centre construction and mission-critical electrical infrastructure

Candidates must be able to demonstrate extensive site-based construction experience, strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage complex projects in demanding delivery environments.
You will be expected to effectively coordinate subcontractors, direct-hire workforces, engineering, procurement and client interfaces while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, programme, productivity and commercial outcomes.
The majority of projects will be located in regional NSW,



Queensland and Victoria, and Construction Manager and Supervisor positions will be site-based.

Electrical Estimators
We are particularly interested in experienced electrical estimators who have developed and delivered comprehensive estimates for major HV and renewable-energy infrastructure projects.
Relevant estimating experience should include:

- HV substations up to 500kV
- BESS projects
- Solar farms
- Wind farms
- Transmission and associated HV infrastructure
- Data centres and large-scale electrical infrastructure

Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the complete estimating process, from initial scope and design review through to the development of a robust and commercially defensible project estimate.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in:

- Detailed project estimating and cost development
- Quantity take-offs and scope development
- Construction methodology and productivity assumptions
- Subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identifying and quantifying project risk
- Developing appropriate contingencies and risk allowances
- Identifying and documenting commercial qualifications and exclusions
- Understanding contractual and delivery risk
- HV equipment procurement and lead-time considerations
- Market testing and supplier engagement




- Developing and maintaining a strong HV and electrical supply chain

Experience procuring major HV equipment - including transformers, switchgear and other long-lead electrical equipment - and an established industry supply network will be highly regarded.

What We're Looking For
These organisations are seeking individuals who can demonstrate real project delivery experience.

Successful candidates will be able to clearly articulate the projects they have delivered, their individual responsibilities, the challenges encountered and the commercial, programme, safety and construction outcomes achieved.
Experience working for Tier 1 contractors, major EPC contractors or leading renewable-energy and transmission organisations will be highly regarded.
